MIA WOLGAST

Food Science Associate

Mia Wolgast joined the Triton team in May 2020 as a Food Science Associate. She draws on her background in the flavor industry and her experience in food product development to create novel and innovative applications of Triton's algae in food products. Before coming to Triton, Mia worked for Metarom Group, where she worked with the R&D team and the QC team to formulate and produce flavors for an array of different products. Mia graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 2019, where she received her BS degree in Food Science.

Doing good and sending positive energy into the world is what gets me out of bed and motivated each morning. Lucky for me, Triton gives me the opportunity to do just that by contributing to more sustainable practices, healthier eating, and further innovation in the future food space. Knowing that we’re doing positive things for the world gives me a sense of pride and fulfillment at the end of each day.
